About this Event
A night of noise and noisettes. Doors at 8pm. £5 entry.
PRETTY BABS-
4 piece raw-rock band from the small villages of Nottinghamshire. Support slots include Dr and the Medics, The Blocheads and Suzanne Vega. Supported by BBC Introducing and released debut album last year.
VERTICAL NOISE-
With an unhealthy addiction to tea, daytime TV repeats and button bashing, these three clean cut people create what can only be described as a musical purge.
Survivors from previous instances have mentioned an onset of: yelping, muttering, hitting and strumming in various combinations that can last up to 30 or 40 minutes. Fast paced, liquorice laced grunge for the masses, they have also been compared to acts such as: Nirvana, Cardiacs and Aqua.
Oh and they're from Mansfield, but don't hold that against them.
HELLEBORE -
A 3-piece post-grunge, power-indie, pile-up from Nottingham.
