Every Sunday we serve the best Sunday Lunches Nottingham city centre has to offer. Recently Platform magazine wrote an article stating we have "possibly the best gravy in the city".
'A Perfect Approach to Roast' - One of of our most popular dishes is our famous Sunday Roast.
"The Approach is somewhere I have walked by a million times in the past and never ventured into. I went here on a friends suggestion and glad I did. The inside is great with an open floor plan and a great friendly atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and and the service was quick.
The roast dinner itself was lovely, with a combination of all your veg, mash and yorkshire pudding, which was massive.... not your regular frozen rubbish, it was good homemade food. Gravy was top quality and tasted of the meat it was actually made from, which may not sound important to most people but to my team and I this is essential, possibly the best gravy we have had in the city.
I had the beef, as is usually the case as it is so hard to get right, but this for me was perfect. The meat was tender, tasted amazing and there was plenty of it, which was great. I have to say this is one of the best roasts I have had in the city and would happily recommend this to everyone. You really can not go wrong - delicious."
