The men’s Aran Jacket has been created from tough and durable fabrics making it the perfect addition to any expedition no matter the weather. It provides superior warmth from our fully lined Insuloft synthetic wadded insulation. It has an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio that is tough, lightweight, packable, fast-drying and easy to wash. Proven over many years by Rohan – it’s a great all-rounder.
Rohan has pioneered this manufactured insulation, and by weight, it’s almost as effective as natural down. However, unlike natural down, it doesn’t lose its warmth the minute it gets wet, so it’s absolutely perfect for active wear or the damp, cold conditions that are the hallmarks of the British winter.
The jacket includes five-pockets, two lower zipped pockets protected by flaps with poppers and an internal zipped pocket for peace of mind that allows you to keep your valuables safe. In addition, we have added to the two upper pockets a lined brushed tricot for added comfort and a touch of luxury. Tricot refers to the name of the fabric structure and is soft to the touch, perfect for those cold winter days when out walking the hills.
