As you’d expect from a down jacket, the Downtown Jacket is extremely warm and highly compressible. But, unlike many down jackets, it’s also very resilient. We’ve treated the down with a highly-effective and specialised hydrophobic treatment which dramatically increases the filling’s resistance to moisture – up to 30% less water absorption than untreated down to be specific. It also dries far faster than traditional down and retains its loft – and therefore warmth – after exposure to moisture. Meaning you can wear it during more changeable conditions without fear of deterioration.
