The Shins have added two new UK dates to ongoing 2017 world tour. James Mercer and his band will hit the Manchester Academy on 22nd Aug, then Nottingham’s Rock City on 23rd Aug. Tickets for both dates are on sale now.
After a five year hiatus, The Shins returned to the spotlight this year with acclaimed new album, Heartworms, written and self-produced by James Mercer. Since the album’s release, The Shins have hit the road, and recently played a victorious and sold out show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. Mercer is joined on tour by Yuuki Matthews (bass), Jon Sortland (drums), Mark Watrous (guitar, keys, vocals), Casey Foubert (guitar) and Patti King (keys).
