Kay K45 rifle guitar/Austin hatchet made only in 1981 as a travel guitar. It is made from solid wood with an inlaid strip of lighter wood which is probably maple which runs from the top of the headstock to the bottom of the guitar body on the back and also the front. The pickups are amazing Di Marzios with cream surrounds (two of the adjusting screws are replacements) - they have a volume control each, master tone control, three-way pickup selector switch plus "out of phase" switch.
This is a real quality guitar, beautifully made and very good for any purpose with a great sound. They are now not so easy to find being made only in 1981.
