Do something different on a Friday night in February - Enjoy over 50 FREE cultural events in the city after dark.

Take part in a fantastic night of discovery as Nottingham comes to life this Light Night: Friday 5 February 2016 from 4pm till late!

2016 highlights:

Illuminated grounds and late night gallery opening at Nottingham Castle and Brewhouse Yard, with FREE entry giving you a chance to see the latest exhibitions
Sparkling Ukuleles at the Nottingham Tourism Centre
FREE live music from lots of local choirs and bands
Star Wars fighting with light sabers
Food and craft markets, including the Light Night market on Smithy Row
FREE activities for kids

Nottingham churches will put on activities and entertainment open to everyone.
St. Peter's Church will host a plethora of school bands,
St Andrews affordable food, lots of activities for families and live music.
St Nicholas' will run their acoustic café and offer hot drinks - a warm spot for families.
St Mary's will host art works in the church yard, plus refreshments and choral performances.
Brewhouse Yard will be open for a host of family friendly activities

Travelling to Light Night

Light Night events take place around the city, and are close to drop off points for buses, the tram and trains. Use Traveline to plan your journey.

Half-price Grouprider on NCT buses: £4.50 for two adults and up to three kids

£5 group ticket on NET trams: £5 for two adults and up to three kids when you travel after 5pm
