Diwali celebrations in Leicester are one of the biggest outside of India, with over 40,000 people attending Diwali Day in the heart of the city's Asian community.

4pm Diwali Village starts 5pm Full road closure 6pm Stage starts on Cossington Street Recreation Ground 8pm Aerial Firework Display 8.30pm Stage ends 9pm Diwali Village ends 9.30pm Road re-opens
