About this Event
Our Open Mic is on the last Sunday of every month down at Duffy's Bar. Each artist gets a 15 minute slot. All styles and levels of experience are welcome. It's a great place to gain some stage experience, or just to get up and have a bit of fun!
This month's feature act is the Jesse Wright band (minus the drummer this time!) Jesse is a singer songwriter born in Leicester specializing in Soul with Mediterranean vibes. She was raised in Spain and moved back to her hometown 20 years later to pursue music. Since moving back to the UK Jesse has played events such as Summer Sundae, Riverside Festival and the Queen’s Birthday celebrations in Leicester. In July 2016 Jesse performed with her new band for the first time at Leicester's Cosmopolitan Festival and has been working towards it ever since.
