Padma, a Hindu widow, finds an injured man near a river in Bangladesh. She brings him home, only to find out he’s a Muslim from India, something she must keep from the villagers. Bishorjon is a timely secular battle cry we need to see more of in today’s world. One which teaches us to look beyond our differences and see the people beyond the labels attached them and is a deeply moving love story not to be missed.
