About the show
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is a 2-part play and is the sequel to the seven prior novels by JK Rowling. The play is set 19 years since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and is centered around the much-loved Potter family. Harry Potter, now a father, husband, and employee of the Ministry of Magic, struggles to cope with his past. Meanwhile, his youngest son, Albus Severus Potter, is about to attend Hogwarts.

The spellbinding production has garnered a host of awards, and has become the first West End play to break the record of the prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards by receiving 11 nominations and winning a record-breaking six awards, including Best New Play and Best Director, in 2017. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" was written by Bafta-, Tony®-, and Oliver-Award winner Jack Thorne, and directed by Olivier- and Tony®-Award winner John Tiffany.
