Our Sizzling summer wedding fayre at the Holiday Inn is always a good event, suppliers have had a chance to try out and test the most amazing styles and trends from the early summer, compare them with the new styles coming in from the USA and Europe and wow the brides to be with fresh ideas and a few new twists on traditional themes.
Being so close to the M1 at Junction 25 (The A52) the ease of access of the Holiday Inn always makes it popular. Great coffee, lots of free parking and some of the best suppliers in the Midlands.
The hotel itself is perfect for smaller weddings with a keen eye on the budget, but make no mistake, these aren't "budget weddings" far from it, the food is excellent, the hotel is light and welcoming and with 93 modern bedrooms, your biggest problem might be getting people to go home afterwards.
Post wedding breakfasts in the comfortable restaurant are a must and with the nearest airport 15 minutes away, Railway station 12 minutes away, Motorway 2 minutes away Nottingham and Derby both within 15 minutes, this venue and this fayre are something to add to the list.
You do need to sign up for a ticket, we usually have a BBQ sizzling outside and last year we were very busy only had hot dogs left!
Sausages or not, we'll be delighted to see you and signing up for a ticket on the website (brides to be are free) will get you invited to all our events until you ask us to stop.
