A limited edition print available only through the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre and featuring many of Quentin Blake's iconic illustrations.
Following on from the success of our 2018 reprint of My Year, a publication exclusive to the museum, we are delighted to introduce this marvellous print.
The colourful and fun illustration is taken from the cover of The Roald Dahl Diary, published in 1992, the short essays from which were later remade into My Year and chronicle the changing countryside observed by Roald Dahl throughout the year.
The quote below the image is taken from The Author's Eye, a 1988 documentary in which Roald Dahl talks about his writing process, and reads:
"When you're writing, it's rather like going on a very long walk- across valleys and mountains and you get the first view of what you see and you write it down."
We particularly love how Roald Dahl is forefront of this image, in the quirky yet unmistakable style of Quentin Blake.
This marvellous print, limited to only 195 copies, is mounted and ready to frame, or alternatively you can purchase this pre-framed. Each print is individually numbered in pencil and embossed with the official Collector’s Edition stamp.
