About this Event
starting at 3 o'clock in the afternoon this Saturday, 9 different acts will be performing their style of music to everyone who attends! there are some brilliant genres, bass, jazz, rock, indie and folk. its a brilliant day of musicians doing what they love to help raise money for poverty.
Venues are totally free (no entry charge) before 6pm. After 6pm, wristbands are required for access to any venue. Wristbands can be purchased on the day for £10 or advance tickets (£8) can be exchanged for wristbands at the Ticket Booth in Beeston Square or at any evening venue. Advance tickets are available at Oxfam Books & Music, Guitar Spot or online (with additional £80p booking fee at wegottickets.com/event/412160).
Entry to evening venues is free for under 12s. Under 18s will be able to buy concession wristbands for £5 on the day.
Note that entry to any venue is subject to there being sufficient capacity at any one venue. 2017 evening venues are Rye, White Lion Bar & Kitchen, The Star Inn, The Hop Pole, The Berliner and Bartons.
Under 18s
Oxjam is a family friendly event and we encourage children and young people to participate wherever possible! All venues accept children and young people under 18 before 8pm. After 8pm, the policy varies according to the venue and under 18s should ideally be accompanied by an adult:
Bartons - no restrictions (14+ welcome unaccompanied)
The Star Inn - no restrictions when accompanied with an adult
The Hop Pole - no under 18s after 8pm
White Lion Bar & Kitchen - no under 18s after 9pm
The Berliner - no under 18s after 10pm
Rye - no under 18s after 10pm
