About this Promotion
The first real street wear brand, Stussy started in 1980 in Laguna Beach California. Local surfboard maker Shawn Stussy signed all of his handcrafted surfboards with his distinctive signature in broad-tipped marker pen. It wasn't long until he transferred the iconic logo to t-shirts, caps and shorts that he sold from the back of his car to fellow surfers.
The brand was quickly adopted by cool street kids, and by the burgeoning Hip Hop community. Expanding rapidly, Stussy became available in the U.K. in 1988 and Wild introduced it to Nottingham in 1991. It has been a mainstay of the business ever since.
