CATTLE & CANE

Led by siblings Joe and Helen Hammill, Cattle & Cane have the ability to shift even the hardest of hearts with their perfect, soaring harmonies. Joined by their brothers Fran (guitar & backing vocals) and Vin Hammill (bass), along with close friend Tom Chapman on drums, Helen and Joe’s finely crafted indie-pop showcases kind of mesmerising harmonies which are truly synonymous with family.

Led by siblings Joe and Helen Hammill, Cattle & Cane release their brand new album ‘Mirrors’ on Friday 28th April 2017, followed by a headline UK tour in May. Produced by Luuk Cox at ICP Studios in Brussels and mastered by Frank Arkwright (Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Snow Patrol) at Abbey Road Studios in London, ‘Mirrors’ showcases Joe and Helen’s ability to shift even the hardest of hearts with their perfect, soaring harmonies.

2016 has also seen the band tour abroad for the first time, with shows in Germany, Malta and Belgium - where they performed at the legendary Cirque Royal in Brussels. Back in February, C&C toured the UK and saw ‘Sold Out’ signs appear all over the country as the band’s ubiquity in their native Teesside continues to spread far and wide.

With extensive national support from the likes of BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 1, Amazing Radio and Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, Cattle & Cane have been heavily championed by the BBC Introducing team and performed at T In The Park and BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park before they'd even released their debut single.

Since being released back in December, recent single ’7 Hours' has already clocked up over 250,000 streams and numerous radio plays from the likes of Dermot O’Leary and Janice Long. With two more new singles coming before the release of the album, 2017 looks set to see Cattle & Cane’s ubiquity in their native Teesside continue to spread far and wide.
