Spanky Van Dykes Eatery and Funhouse; the name that says it all (Just don't ask where it came from, because that is a mystery to which no living soul has the answer). Since 2010 we've been bringing the people of Nottingham the finest, the funkiest and the freshest of food, drink and entertainment. Tales of our famous burgers have travelled the seven seas, and our fried chicken has now ascended in to the pantheon of the food Gods.
When it comes to craft beer and real ale, nothing but the very best makes it to our taps. Our selection process is like Ninja Warrior, but harder. If beer isn't your thing, we've got you covered with a fine selection of spirits and wines from across the multiverse, simple yet mighty cocktails and enough interesting soft drinks for you to shake your stick at. Of course, it's not just the taste buds that we like to treat to a good tickle. If Forbes stopped messing around with rich people and focussed on awesome live entertainment instead, their list would probably look something like our monthly planner. In the past we've welcomed the likes of artists and entertainers from Dead Prez to Sleaford Mods, from MC Devvo to Alaska Thunderfvck 5000 and from DJ Yoda to Jamie Rodigan.
Aside from all that jazz though, there's also our roster of regular institutions, such as the Big Ass Pub Quiz, Reggae Take Over, and even nights dedicated to Tony Hawks Pro Skater games (Yes, the second one is by far the best). You'll find us nuzzled away between Rock City, the Nottingham Theatre Royal and NTU's city campus. There's always room for a little one, so we'll see you there.
