Nottingham is proud to host the 2016 European Archery Championship, a Road to Rio event taking place in Old Market Square.

Watch exciting live archery in a purpose-built archery arena in Nottingham's Old Market Square.

Four separate archery sessions will take place over Saturday and Sunday, from 11am and 2pm daily. Compound finals will take place on Saturday, with Recurve finals (the Olympic sport) taking place on Sunday.

Tickets £10 - £12.50 for adults, or £7.50 - £10 for children.

What is the European Archery Championship?
Over 300 elite archers from across Europe will battle for their chance to qualify for the Rio Olympics 2016.

Official practice, opening ceremony and qualification for the Championship will take place at The University of Nottingham's Highfields playing fields 23-27 May (not open to the public).

The exciting weekend final will be hosted in the heart of Nottingham, the Old Market Square in an impressive 1500 seater archery arena.
Visitors can also enjoy a European food and drink market along Smithy Row and Long Row throughout the weekend.
