About this Event

A brand new annual festival discovering the confluence between urban, contemporary and classical contexts and exploring the significance of South Asian and wider cultural influences on art and UK identity. At its heart, the festival draws inspiration from the Darbar Festival, the largest Indian classical festival outside of India and New Art Exchange, the largest gallery in the UK dedicated to culturally diverse contemporary visual arts.

What happens if you bring together a beatboxer, two classical musicians from Western and Indian music genres and a visual artist? The Fringe residency does just that by providing a new incubation space for diverse artists to create a new piece titled AFTERGLOW. Don't miss the concerts, talks, debates, literature, exhibition and experience delicious food during brunch flash concerts.
