Introduction to Chasing and Repousse with Melody Unchained

This is a basic introduction to the classical art of Chasing & Repousse, creative stylised form using chasing tools in the Italian method. You will learn how a design can be taken from a 2D drawing to a 3D form, the considerations required for design, how to approach and utilise the tools, then cut out the image to use in wearable jewellery. You will be provided with sufficient copper sheet to make a simple pair of earrings or pendant to take home with you.
This workshop is quite physical and if you have any health concerns, it would be recommended to speak with the tutor first to assess your ability to participate.
£95 per person
Materials are included in cost. Refreshments provided. Please bring your own lunch.
