Fold Formed Jewellery with Helen Domleo

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those wanting to learn a new skill. Charles Lewton-Brain invented fold forming and it completely revolutionized the way you could make unique, organic, textured, 3D jewellery with basic tools. On this course you will learn how to fold, hammer, anneal and finally open up your pieces to reveal unique sculptural designs. You will begin by learning some basic fold forming techniques before moving onto more complex processes using not only hammers but also a rolling mill. We will explore single folds first before progressing onto multiple folds. You will go away with a good knowledge of several different fold forming techniques.
All tools and copper will be provided for you to master this technique, silver will be available at cost if you wish to make your designs in silver.

Refreshments and cake provided during the day. Lunch is NOT provided. Please be aware the workshop in down stairs and there is no lift facility.
