As part of our collaboration with Southern Comfort for Nottingham Loves Cocktails, we are spreading the word about the history of one of the worlds most famous liquers. Born in New Orleans in 1874, Southern Comfort was created by a bartender who believed whiskey should be enjoyed, not endured.
We've got two sessions on the day.
Industry (bartenders, hospitality proffesionals) - 2.30pm
Hosted by Christian Tirel (Southern Showdown 2016 Winner), a tasting of Southern Comfort followed by a masterclass on all things #comfortable from heritage to modern day uses and consumption. Discussion of New Orleans cocktail scenes and Southern Comfort's uses in New Orleans cocktails. With plenty of cocktails to sample and each attendee gets a free cocktail from our NLC 2017 menu.
Public (open to everyone) - 6.30pm
