We’re honoured to host an event featuring readings from poets visiting from each UK City of Literature. Don’t miss Alice Kinsella from Dublin; John Osborne from Norwich; Ron Butlin of Edinburgh; and Nott’s own Georgina Wilding. Don’t miss.

John Osborne writes stories and poems. His most recent poetry book No-one cares about your new thing was published last year by Go Faster Stripe, and his poems have appeared on BBC Radio 1, Radio 4, 6Music and XFM. In 2015 a TV show he wrote, After Hours was broadcast on Sky 1. It was directed by Craig Cash and starred Jaime Winstone and Ardal O’Hanlon. johnosbornewriter.com

With an international reputation as a prize-winning novelist, Ron Butlin is a former Edinburgh Poet Laureate. He has published nearly twenty books, including ten collections of poetry, and his work has been translated into over a dozen languages. He has given readings worldwide and is a regular on the Edinburgh Fringe, reading with jazzers. Recently he has begun writing verse and adventure stories for children, and loves every minute of it! Alice Kinsella was born in Dublin and raised in Mayo. She was educated in Trinity College Dublin and NUI Galway. Her poetry has been widely published at home and abroad,most recently in Banshee Lit, Boyne Berries, The Lonely Crowd, and The Irish Times. Her work has been listed for competitions such as the Over the Edge New Writer of the YearCompetition 2016, the Jonathan Swift Awards 2016, the Cinnamon Press Pamphlet
Competition 2017, and the Gregory O’Donoghue International Poetry Prize 2018. She wasSICCDA Liberties Festival writer in residence for 2017 and received a John Hewitt bursary in the same year. Flower Press is her first collection. www.alicekinsellawriter.com
