Leicester's own SKAM are a three-piece hard rock band featuring Steve Hill (guitar/vocals), Matt Gilmore (bass/backing vocals) and Neal Hill (drums/backing vocals).
The band are currently at their strongest ever. With over 500 gigs to their name, having played in every major city in the UK and Ireland, SKAM are a crack live unit with a stage show second to none. Influenced by bands such as AC/DC, Iron Maiden and the Foo Fighters, the band have a reputation for delivering no-nonsense, gutsy, classic British rock music.
Tonight sees the release of their 3rd album, 'The Amazing Memoirs Of Geoffrey Goddard'. Singer/guitarist Steve Hill said: “We have been living and breathing this for a couple of years now; writing, crafting, honing what has become our third album. We have gone old school with the whole thing, from recording it ‘as a band in a room’, through to gatefold vinyl and really going to town on the artwork. So, to say we can’t wait for folk to hear it and experience it, is possibly THE understatement of 2017.”
