The All-England Theatre Festival (AETF), now in its 8th decade, is the only countrywide competitive festival of one-act drama in England.
The 6-month long competition is organised regionally and, after a series of preliminary, quarter and semi-final rounds across the country, culminates in a Grand Final in which the four ‘Area’ champions compete for the title of ‘English Champion.’
For the Quarter Final, six one-act plays performed by six different groups, will be competing for a place in the Semi-Final of the All-England Theatre Festival, which will take place at the Swan Theatre, Worcester on 12th May. The audience has the unique opportunity to see the plays and listen to the public reviews of those plays from an independent professional expert, a senior member of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators.
All groups will already have won a drama festival, so a high standard of performance is guaranteed.
Come to both sessions (6 plays) for only £12.
